sarkaru vaari paata movie

Sarkaru Vaari Paata, directed by Parasuram, is based on the axiom that money makes the world go round. Almost all of the main characters are split between those who toil to repay minor loans and are pushed to the verge, and those who refuse to repay banks thousands of crores. Mahi (Mahesh Babu) asks why ordinary people should be pressured to return debts of $10,000-15,000 yet a business mogul can get away with repaying tens of billions of rupees. sarkaru

The idea is hammered home through a story that is first engaging, despite being conventional and formulaic, but gradually becomes sanctimonious and overdrawn. Parasuram tailors each scene to the lead actor's superstar image. Take, for example, the first scene, where Mahesh states, "You can steal my love, you can steal my friendship, but you cannot steal my money." He beats up gangsters in the United States, claiming that for every hit he takes, he will repay 72 rupees (since one dollar equals 72 rupees).

One could wonder how Mahi created a financing company in the United States and what his credentials are if he wasn't played by an actor with a celebrity image. Instead, we cling to the plotline's sparse details: a youngster whose parents committed suicide because they couldn't repay a bank loan understands the power of those who lend vs those who receive.

If you don't ask questions, such if Kalavathi (Keerthy Suresh) is so stupid as to throw her ID cards and passport to random strangers from whom she borrows money, the Miami scenes are the most enjoyable section of the movie. Kalavathi is a glamorous con artist, and Mahi is so enamoured with her that his ordinarily keen sense of business takes a back seat.

After following Kalavathi to a university in Miami, he tells her, "It's a boy thing!" The line is met with applause, as predicted. It fits the romantic ambiance of the song, which succeeds due of Mahesh's, Vennela Kishore's (as his coworker), and Keerthy's timing. You can either be bewildered by the absurdity of it all, like Kishore does, or you can give in to the laughter. It also helps not to wonder why Kalavathi is in debt since a single phone call to her father (in Visakhapatnam) may instantly summon a chopper and gunmen to her aid in Miami.

The early part of the film is filled with scenes and song sequences that highlight Mahesh's boyish appearance and the attractive female lead. The popular 'Penny' and 'Kalavathi' melodies, as well as Thaman's background music, set the tone. Choreographer Shekhar and cameraman R Madhi deserve praise for their work on these scenes. sarkaru vaari

The earliest clashes between Mahi and Rajendranath (Samuthirakani) in Vizag have a certain zing to them. However, once the battle lines are formed and the topic of a massive bank loan repayment is raised, the remainder of it devolves into a gruelling battle of wits.

Though well-intentioned, Mahi's constant emphasis on the impact of loans on various segments of society becomes tedious. From Brahmaji to Keerthy, Mahi either preaches or slaps people to get them to view things differently. Better writing would have undoubtedly aided.

Others appear, including Tanikella Bharani, Nadiya, Geetha Bhasker, and others, but Mahesh Babu's programme takes precedence. Even though he speaks less, Vennela Kishore manages to capture some attention with his precisely timed expressions. Samuthirakani's portrayal is also unremarkable.

It's past time for Mahesh to move on from stories about his returning to India on a mission, inevitably delivering social messages and therefore saving individuals, the State, or the country.
