tom and jerry Little Quacker

Tom and Jerry
Little Quacker is a 1950 American one-reel animated cartoon directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera and produced by Fred Quimby. It is the 47th Tom and Jerry short. In the 1950s, it was the first Tom and Jerry short to be released. Quacker, the duckling who would go on to appear in other books, makes his debut in Little Quacker. He appeared in seven more shorts, making him one of the series' most durable supporting characters. (Uncredited) Red Coffee provided the voices of Quacker and his parents (who make their sole speaking appearance in this animation), as well as a single WAH WAH! remark by Tom, however the voice has been mistaken for Clarence Nash's, who was better known as the voice of Donald Duck. cartoon cat

Plot
A mother duck goes for a swim on a farm, leaving an egg in her nest behind. Tom, on the other hand, deftly reaches inside the nest and removes the egg to be cooked. He returns to his kitchen and sets a frying pan on the stove. When Tom cracks the egg open, however, all he gets is Quacker, a duckling, rather not the albumen and yolk.

Tom, not to be deterred, chooses to prepare roast duck instead. But he needs Quacker's 'cooperation'(!) to do so. Tom stuffs Quacker with bread to fatten him up, and while the duckling is distracted, Tom grabs a meat cleaver and attempts to chop Quacker up, but misses. Quacker flees into Jerry's mouse hole and into his bed, terrified (the shape beneath Jerry's sheet resembles a ringing bell). Jerry discovers Quacker, who informs him about Tom's attempted assassination. Quacker then returns to his hiding place beneath Jerry's bed, trembling in horror once more. tom and jerry

Jerry cautiously emerges from his mouse hole, but Tom is swift and almost cuts him down with his meat cleaver. Quacker pulls on Jerry's legs, fearing he has been beheaded, only for the camera to draw away, revealing that Tom has only managed to grasp Jerry by the whiskers. Jerry is set free and receives his reward. Tom's tail is placed outside of the hole as a form of vengeance, and Tom, who has no idea what's going on, ends up severing his own tail.

He yells in anguish and lashes out, chasing Jerry and Quacker Outside, Tom's attempts to slash at Jerry and Quacker only result in him getting flattened by collapsing buildings or posts (Resemble from Hatch Up Your Troubles). Later, while Quacker and Jerry search for his mother, Tom uses a duck call to attract Quacker's attention.

However, Jerry notices what Tom is doing to and swiftly replaces his duck caller with a stick of dynamite, which explodes in his face. He then pursues them to a massive building tree with a shotgun with two barrels He thrusts the rifle in, only to have the barrel bend towards his fanny, which he fires at by accident.

Jerry and Quacker run, but collide with a tyre and take cover inside Tom picks up a sledge mace from the ground and attempts to flatten them to death, but it fails because the tyre bounces the object, and he ends up bashing himself in the face with it He slumps down and places the mace on the ground, enthralled.

Jerry and Quacker are able to flee. Tom snaps out of his daze, gets a push mower, and chases them down Quacker's mother calls out to him as she wanders about the property Tom chases Jerry and Quacker with his push mower, but he eventually runs over Quacker's mother's front feathers, exposing her underwear.

With a shocked and embarrassed expression on her face, she covers them. Momma and baby are reunited, but Tom steals Quacker from the mama duck, who then takes back her baby Quacker's mama demands to know what occurred when he tells her what happened.

He did?" she thinks he's doing to her baby. Tom's only response is a mocking imitation of her quacking (some speculate that this is his way of saying, "I did, so what!" or "What are you going to do about it?") The mama duck, irritated, then calls her mate ("HENRY!"). Tom is terrified by Henry, who is tattooed like a sailor and as strong as an ox.

The mama duck tells him about Tom's treatment of their son and how she was minding her own business when he drove her over with the push mower, "and he got clever, too!" Henry, enraged by Tom's conduct toward both his wife and Quacker, glares at him and snarls, "He!".

did?". Tom tries to flee in response, but the colossal drake pursues him. He slams into a tree, allowing Henry to constantly drive the push mower up and down on his back, inflicting a series of agonising cuts as a punishment Mama Duck and Quacker are seen swimming in the pond, with her towing Jerry Mouse on a small raft. tom and jerry cartoon

Jerry tries to sound like mama and baby using the duck caller he borrowed from Tom earlier The two friends then turn to face each other and grin, indicating that their friendship will last forever and ever..

This is the only Tom & Jerry cartoon from before 1950 that has been remastered in its original theatrical form. And, as of 2018, it has not been published on home video in the United States Tom and Jerry Meet Little Quack, a Little Golden Book from Western Publishing, was adapted from this cartoon in 1953.

This was Henry, the Poppa's only appearance, and Momma Duck's only speaking episode as well Little Quacker is the duckling's official billing name in the Tom & Jerry comic books published by Dell Comics and Gold Key Comics The exact audio clip was used ten years before this cartoon in the Three Stooges short No Census.

No Feeling, when the mother duck yells "Henry!" It's also possible that this is a reference to The Henry Aldrich Show This cartoon was included in the VHS release Tom and Jerry: Festival of Fun Quacker's voice was provided by Red Coffee, although it was incorrectly credited to Clarence Nash, better known as Donald Duck's original voice actor.

Censorship
The scene in which Tom uses dynamite and it explodes in his face, turning him into blackface, is banned. The gunshot on Tom's bottom is also removed. Also, Quacker's mother's fur is ripped, revealing her underwear after Tom accidently mows her feathers while chasing Jerry, and Quacker was taken off the air in the United Kingdom and the Middle East because it was deemed inappropriate for younger viewers. Boomerang brings the scenario back to life...
